Learning Kali is a skill that will help preserve your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
What is Kali? It’s a martial system that dates back even to the times of Alexander the Great, to the present-day Philippines! Kali Center has continued to learn and explore weaponry through the age of time.
If you have little to no experience in Kali, then this is for you! However, if you do have some experience, you will still benefit from this seminar because of the details discussed. The seminar is for those that seek further achievement, which can only be taught by understanding the sword. Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645) once stated that understanding the sword is not just about being a swordsman, but a strategist. Being a strategist can only be understood if you train the sword.
This 3-hour Kali seminar will teach you the basics of how Kali will help preserve your life.
We will cover the fundamentals of utilizing the single sword with body alignment, footwork, sword alignment, coordination, and how to bring it all together. The importance of anatomical alignment and coordination helps to bring the understanding of self-preservation together.
As a professional designer, former science teacher, business owner, and father to a wonderful daughter, I will discuss what it takes to understand and apply how Kali can help you in your personal journey. Knowledge that you can learn and utilize in your life.
